Teeth Cleaning

Dental cleanings remove plaque, tarter and staining that accumulates on a daily basis that can lead to cavities and Periodontal disease. Regular dental cleanings keep your smile healthy, diagnoses dental issues early and helps you maintain your teeth for a lifetime. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends routine teeth cleanings every six months to ensure a healthy smile.

Diagnosis

The most important part of a dental visit is identifying dental needs and tailoring a comprehensive treatment plan to create a healthy, aesthetic and well maintained smile. Our team utilizes the latest technology, including digital X-Rays, Pan-Ceph images, and in-office CT scans to aid in diagnose and treatment planning.

Digital X-Rays

A routine part of your dental visit is taking dental X-Rays. These images help our team diagnose what we cannot see clinically. Digital X-Rays, unlike traditional methods, significantly minimizes the patients' exposure to radiation and provides instant images.

Fluoride Treatments

Fluoride treatment is part of a routine cleaning appointment for children. It helps prevent cavities and keeps their teeth strong and healthy. Some fluoride treatments may be used on adults to help minimize teeth sensitivity, which may be more common as we get older.

Sealants

Dental sealants are thin coatings that when painted on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth (molars) can prevent cavities (tooth decay) for many years. Sealants protect the chewing surfaces from cavities by covering them with a protective shield that blocks out germs and food. Children aged 6 to 11 years without sealants have almost three times more first molar cavities than children with sealants. Talk to a member of our team to discuss the benefits and your child's needs.

Mouth Guards

Night guards are devices that are used to protect your teeth from grinding and clenching when you sleep. Grinding and clenching leads to wearing down of teeth, jaw pain and potential tooth fracture. Your dentist can fit you with a mouthguard to protect your teeth while you sleep.
