Dr. Gustavo Perdomo attended the Javeriana University Dental School in Bogota, Colombia where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1981.

After completing one year of private practice in Caracas, Venezuala, he entered the two year program in Prosthodontics at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 1983, receiving a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Prosthodontics (CAGS) in 1985. Following graduation, Dr. Perdomo returned to Colombia and opened a private specialty practice in Bogota and taught at two local dental schools; The Javeriana University and the Colombian Dental School as an Assistant Clinical Professor.

In 1999, Dr. Perdomo received his DMD degree from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and assumed the position of Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Restorative Sciences and Biomaterials. 

​

His duties as a Clinical Professor included preclinical laboratory activities for Prosthodontics and Implantology, intramural patient care and supervision of residents. 

​

In 2007, he worked with Dr. Stefan Neeser as an Associate Prosthodontist in Wayland, MA. 

​

Dr. Gustavo Perdomo has worked as a Prosthodontist in Weymouth and Braintree from 2008 to 2010. He also worked in Lawrence, Chelmsford, Boston, Somerville, Roslindale, West Harwich, Bourne, West Roxbury, Quincy, Randolph, Brookline, Mendon, and Somerset, MA from 2010 to 2019.

Dr. Perdomo is and has been an active member of the following dental associations: American Academy of Implant Density (AAID), International College of Prosthodontics (ICP), American Dental Association (ADA), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) (including Middlesex, Metropolitan, Boston and South Shore Districts), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), The academy of Osseointegration (AO), and the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP), Alpha Omega Fraternity Boston Alumni Chapter, Periodontal Associates Implant Study Club, MA, The Restorative Dental Study Club of Cambridge, MA, ITI US Member & Study Club, Cambridge, MA, Harvard Study Club, Boston and Cambridge, MA, American Prosthodontic Society (APS). 

​

Dr. Perdomo has taken many CE courses and lectured both nationally and internationally. 

​

In his spare time, Dr. Perdomo devotes his time and talents to his lovely wife Dr. Claudia Lievano and their children, Maria Paula, Natalia, Juan Andres, and Catalina. He also spends his time with his grandchildren and in-laws. He currently resides in Westwood, MA with his family.
